Monday Madness — How do saints make it to the bracket?

Tim and Scott will be offering regular sessions of Monday Madness, in which they discuss various aspects of Lent Madness. Think of it as color commentary. Once the contest starts, they’ll review the winners & losers, as well as preview upcoming match-ups.

Today’s conversation covers the bracket — how do saints make it onto the bracket of 32 holy people? What happened in previous years? And what’s coming next week? Tune in for all that, and more.

Hey! Just wanted to let you guys know we’re getting a sort of “betting pool” in our Canterbury group for Lent Madness. Everyone is going to fill out a bracket with what they think the results will be and at the end, whoever has the best bracket gets a prize. Mother Penny (penelopepiscopal) is an Associate Rector at our church, and we’re all super pumped!

Caitlyn, this is a brilliant idea and I hope it serves as an inspiration to others. I would suggest donating any extraneous cash to my discretionary fund. God would certainly approve.

A friend discovered this by accident, shared it with me and now am eagerly awaiting Lent this year.
